FARO develops and sells computer-based coordinate measuring systems and measuring software on a global scale. The portable measuring instruments by FARO enable high-precision 3D measurements and 3D comparisons of parts and complete facilities directly in the production and quality assurance processes. They are equally used for component and assembly group testing, production planning and stock documentation as well as for the examination and reconstruction of sites of accidents and crimes and for the digital registration of historic sites.
