Gladding was founded in 1816 by B.F. Gladding and quickly became a leader in the US textile industry by manufacturing various marine textile products, including fishing line. Gladding continued to grow over the years and expanded their product lines. In 2003, Gladding was purchased by Sparky Christakos to become the Gladding Braided Products it is today. We ship daily across the United States, Canada and Mexico. We also ship internationally and have an extremely diverse customer base, ranging from large companies to the small “mom and pop” stores. While Gladding is predominately known as a textile braid manufacturer, in 2009, we expanded our production lines to include wire braiding. Our wire products are used in many different applications such as Automotive, Electronic, Energy, Utilities and Aerospace. In addition to textile and wire braids, Gladding also buys and sells braiding machinery. The diverse talent and experience of our staff has made all of this possible.
