ACST is a private, independent school governed by an elected Board of Governors. The school was established in 1959 by American Embassy parents and has enjoyed a close relationship with the US Embassy and Government for over 62 years.
ACST is accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges in the US and the International Baccalaureate Organization. The school uses American curriculum standards and benchmarks with an international perspective and a college preparatory level of rigor. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, the IB Diploma Program is used in grades 11 and 12 in order to prepare our graduates for success in their continuing education.
The students and families of ACST come from more than 60 countries and bring an established tradition of hard work, varied interests, and a passion for learning.
