The North Technology Group has a long history of leading the way in marine innovation. Since 2020, this has included developing the DynaRig concept, which has proven to be the most efficient, safe, high-performance sailing system for large vessels, operable by a single person from a control panel. Since being delivered successfully to the leisure market, it has now become the mission of North Windships to prove the potential of the DynaRig concept, and other wind-powered systems, as solutions for sustainable commercial shipping. By funding and carrying out cutting-edge research, working closely with other leaders in the space - such as the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association and the International Windship Association - and by using the extensive experience and facilities from across the North Technology Group, our vision is to be a leading light in a brighter future for commercial shipping.
