Sankofa means “to bring back.” At Sankofa Montessori, we are bringing back the 100-year-old Montessori model of teaching and learning for students in grades K-6 to provide families with a culturally responsive, child and family-centered Montessori education to develop in all children the knowledge, skills, and agency to lead purposeful lives.
