Audio is recorded and streamed on demand to aid source identification. Our amplitude modulation function enables the real-time detection of excess amplitude modulation from wind turbines. We are able to help wind farm operators determine the parameters under which excess AM occurs and hence enable them to program their systems accordingly to maximise power generation revenue without causing excess disturbance to local residents. A task that would have previously taken months can now be undertaken in a number of weeks, significantly reducing the time that a wind turbine/ wind farm can be offline and hence minimising the loss of revenue to the operator. Noise.camera incorporates two high definition cameras and is used for the detection of excess noise from road vehicles as a result of inappropriate driving (usually excess acceleration) or modified exhaust systems. The system is used by law enforcement agencies, local authorities and police authorities, some of whom issue fines to repeat offenders.
