St Edmund's in Wahroonga is a Year 7-12 co-educational secondary school for students with a wide range of disabilities including sensory impairment, intellectual disability and Autism. All students are catered for through an individual program which addresses academic, personal wellbeing and emotional spheres. High levels of technology support all aspects of the program. In addition there are many co-curricular opportunities such as dance, creative art, music and sport to ensure the school experience is both challenging and rich.
St Edmund's is a Catholic College in the Edmund Rice tradition, administered by the Christian Brothers through Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) - a National Governance Body for all Christian Brothers' Schools across Australia. In NSW, St Gabriel's School for Hearing Impaired Children at Castle Hill and St Edmund's are administered by the Edmund Rice Special Education Services (ERSES) Board. We see acceptance and development of positive self-esteem as the most important part of our students' physical and emotional growth.
