FRES (Foundation Rural Energy Services) accelerates rural electrification by setting up local solar electricity companies in off-grid rural Africa. We offer premium quality energy services to households, businesses and institutions and contribute to enhanced living conditions and economic development. Currently we have four FRES companies in Africa: Yeelen Ba (Burkina Faso), Yeelen Kura (Mali), FRES Uganda Ltd. (Uganda) and FRES Guinea-Bissau (Guinea-Bissau). With the support of partners and investors we are gearing up to add new countries to our network as we are on a mission to leave no one behind.
