The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is a teaching and research institution within the field of medicine and health, at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). The Faculty has activity in Trondheim, Gjøvik, Ålesund and Levanger.
The faculty is also a part of the Integrated University Hospital in Trondheim together with St. Olavs Hospital.
Research at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences covers a wide range of topics related to medicine and health. Our research ranges from basic research to translational and applied research.
The faculty provides education in most areas within health and medicine. We educate qualified candidates for the health sector, as well as health-related research, business and management.
