The Tennessee Smokies are the Home of the “Nine-Inning Vacation!” The Smokies are the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs and member of the 8-team Southern League. The Smokies also set a new single game attendance record on June 17th, welcoming 8,164 fans to the game that evening, and a new average attendance record of 4,981. The Tennessee Smokies brand has continued to grow and reach beyond East Tennessee. Smokies Stadium is located just east of Knoxville on I-40 at exit 407 – the Gateway to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Smoky Mountains National Park.
