The RAD Network, events, research and commitment to knowledge mobilization has emerged out of the Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership (CRP), which weaves together a wide range of partners including Indigenous thought leaders, organizations, youth and Elders; emerging and established scholars; prominent conservation agencies and organizations; Indigenous Peoples and Nations; and knowledge mobilization specialists, academic institutions, all united in the goal of supporting Indigenous-led conservation in Canada.
The CRP is growing an Indigenous-led network for Conservation Finance. Emerging from work in the IPCA, Economics, Infrastructure and Finance stream, the RAD (Restore, Assert and Defend) Network is focused on enabling conservation finance pathways rooted in Indigenous rights, responsibilities and knowledge systems.
