Alumina manufacturing facility situated along the Mississippi River in St. James Parish just downstream of Gramercy, Louisiana. The refinery utilizes the Bayer Process to extract alumina from bauxite provided by sister company Noranda Bauxite Ltd. in St. Ann, Jamaica. Current plant manufacturing capacity is approximately 1,200,000 metric tons per year of alumina.
