تأسس مركز دعم اتخاذ القرار بموجب قرار مجلس الوزراء رقم (337) والصادر بتاريخ 9 شعبان1437هـ الموافق 16 مايو 2016م. ويهدف المركز إلى دعم اتخاذ القرار بالمملكة العربية السعودية وتحسين فعاليته وكفايته في مختلف المجالات، من خلال آليات ووسائل علمية وعملية منها رصد وتحليل الأحداث بهدف إعداد دراسات تعالج القضايا الحالية أو ذات الأبعاد المستقبلية بالإضافة لجمع وتحليل ومعالجة البيانات والمعلومات لدعم متخذي القرار، وتثقيف الرأي العام وتوعيته حول القرارات المتخذة. The Decision Support Center was established based on the Council of Minsters' resolution no.337 issued in the 9th of Shaban-1437, Corresponding to the 16th of May 2016. The Center objective is to support decision making in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and enhance its efficiency in various spheres. DSC implements scientific and practical methods and means of research & studies based on extensive data; to monitor and analyze current or future influencing topics. Such studies contribute in educating and raising awareness of the public opinion.
