‘Art’, in all its various forms has always been in the process of evolving and will continue to do so in times to come. However, not all artists and certainly not all art forms have been able to match up to the evolving times which has resulted in artists facing deprivation and lack of patronage or adequate remuneration for their creations which has led to certain art forms losing on their charm and elan. Since we belong to a culture which boasts of having propagated 64 traditional arts known as the “Chausath Kalas”, there is a need to address this prevailing issue so as to progressively develop our culture through various forms of art. The Art Leadership Council will endeavour to achieve this aim through employment of direct, definitive measures focused towards development of all forms of art to include all branches of Literature, Visual & Performing Arts.
