BUET Entrepreneurship Development Club (BUET EDC) is a registered club of BUET. The aim of BUET EDC to develop entrepreneurial mindset among the students of BUET. The world is now heading to a future where the triumph of technology is inevitable and without Technological efficiency, no nation can achieve the apex of prosperity. Since Bangladesh is stepping forward to a path of being a hotspot of emerging economy in Asia, it has now become most pressing concern that technological revolution must be done by the young bright minds of the country. BUET is considered as the hub of technological innovations and technical knowledge. The students excels in the field of Robotics, pProgramming, Machine Designing, Sustainable Urban Planning, Automobiles, Industrial Innovation and Design etc. BUET EDC believes in the power of youth exuberance and the spark of the young students of the University. The most talented and the brightest students of Bangladesh get the opportunity of studying in this University. Thus EDC BUET is aimed on unleashing the potential of these awesomely talented young people to be entrepreneurs and encourages them for thriving high to bring success and glory to the country. EDC is focused on nurturing the leadership and communication skill of the students through which the future leaders will come out from this platform. The objective of the club 1. Improving presentation skills of members 2. Developing idea among them about how to make a business plan & business model 3. Connecting with entrepreneurs and venture capitalists 4. Gaining insights and information about tech entrepreneurship 5. Participating in pitch clinics 6. Organizing and competing in hackathons and business case competitions 7. Preparing the students for the high-speed world of technological innovation 8. Organizing Hult Prize Competition 9. Arranging “Entrepreneurship Talks” and many other innovative programs for students.
