Tropicana Logistics Private Limited In 2012, Tropicana Leisure Hospitality Private Limited was launched to oversee development of 158 room luxury resort at Alibaug, which is about 45 minutes boat ride from The Gateway of India, Mumbai. The resort is managed by internationally renowned U Hotels and Resorts of Thailand and now branded as “U Tropicana Alibaug” In 2013, TLSPL started construction of a state of art Cold Storage at Willingdon Island, Kochi. The 2.3 hectare plot of land is leased from Cochin Port Trust until 2034. The 2,800 pallets plant has six compartments covering temperature ranges from (-) minus 25 degree Celsius to + 10 degree Celsius. This will provide chilled storage for 1,000 pallets of fruits, vegetables and horticulture products and 1,800 pallets of frozen foods such as seafood, meat and vegetables. The plant is designed with latest technologies to provide the most effective storage conditions available. Tropicana Houseboats and Hospitality Private Limited - is another wholly owned subsidiary of Tropicana Group. The company owns a few modern fully air conditioned house boats. The boats are managed by Rainbow Cruises on a long term lease arrangement. We are adding a small boutique hotel in Kochi on a water front property owned by the company.
