Troy-Miami County Public Library has enjoyed a strong library tradition for 120 years. The Troy-Miami County Public Library has three locations and a bookmobile to serve Miami County. These locations include the main library at 419 W. Main Street, Troy; the Local History Library, 100 W. Main Street, Troy; and the Oakes-Beitman Memorial Branch, 12 N. Main Street, Pleasant Hill. The bookmobile serves the outlying areas of the county. In addition to books and magazines, the library lends ebooks and audiobooks, DVDs; books on CD; and music CD's. the libraries check out well over 600,000 items each year.
