The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is a leading international research organisation. Our vision is to inspire a world that increasingly values, protects and benefits from plants. To achieve this we are pushing the bounds of knowledge in plant science, conservation and horticulture.
In Scotland our four Gardens at Edinburgh, Benmore, Logan and Dawyck attract around a million visitors each year.
We operate as a Non Departmental Public Body established under the National Heritage (Scotland) Act 1985, principally funded by the Scottish Government. We are also a registered charity, managed by a Board of Trustees appointed by Ministers. Learn more at www.rbge.org.uk
