SD Projects is a social enterprise focused on reducing deforestation in megadiverse hotspots and changing the lives of the most vulnerable communities by improving household economics, health, gender equality and overall quality of life. These vulnerable communities, often residing in areas most exposed to the risks of climate change and deforestation are disproportionately threatened by their impacts. Project Buhay will be the first project of its kind to be accredited by the Verra Standard Certification in the Philippines. Our aims are to distribute energy-efficient wood/charcoal fuel cookstoves at no cost to the most vulnerable areas that are using open-fire cooking methods.
