MIIM is a group of architects, designers and thinkers operating within the fields of architecture, urbanism, landscape, and research and development. Co-founded in Copenhagen in 2014 by Min Ter Lim, who has extensive experience in internationally renowned architecture practices, working on projects in Scandinavia and Northern Europe, the United States, Southeast and East Asia, and the Middle East. The studio is currently based in Taipei, Taiwan to better serve its projects in Asia. Influenced by the Danish philosophy of design, MIIM excels in creating buildings that are innovative in the development of programmatic use based on the client’s core vision and aspirations. Building on the founders’ breadth and depth of experience as project leader for numerous projects around the world, MIIM develops designs that are technically innovative yet reinforced by global best-practice methods in order to be cost- and resource-conscious. The ambition is that this balance of good, thoughtful design with maximum sustainability performance will result in a perfect blend of aesthetic and function.
