India Ultimate is the governing body for flying disc sports in India. Established in 2012, we aim to grow Ultimate Frisbee as a major sport in India through grassroots development in schools, colleges and NGOs, training of coaches, tournaments at local, regional and national levels, and other promotional activities.
Affiliated to the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), the international body recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), India Ultimate is a registered society governed by elected office bearers from a community of over 10,000 athletes and 128 club teams across 15 states.
Since 2015, India Ultimate has sent Indian teams to compete internationally at World and Continental Championships. In 2019, the national Ultimate Frisbee team won the Bronze medal at the Asia-Oceanic Championships.
