Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) is one of the pioneers in engineering education, excelling since 1985. It has got an Autonomous status since 2016. All 11 B.E./B.Tech. and 8 M.E./M.Tech. the programs are affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. SVCE has more than 22,000 alumni, over 450 Faculty and staff and currently, over 3900 students are pursuing their degree programs. History: SVCE is a unit of Sri Venkateswara Educational and Health Trust (SVEHT). The Trust was founded on 1 August 1985 at the behest and benign blessings of His Holiness Pujashree Kanchi Kamakoti Peedathipathi Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. Dr. A. C. Muthiah, a renowned engineer, industrialist,and philanthropist, is the Chairman of the Governing Council of the college. The college is in a 95 acre lush green Campus.
