The Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is the City of Cedar Hill’s business development, retention, and outreach department. The CHEDC Board of Directors consists of 5 voting members and two ex-officio members. The board members set strategic policies and develop incentive programs from a 3/8-cent sales tax fund, approved and voted by citizens in 1994. Cedar Hill Economic Development has four full-time staff members: Henry Florsheim, IOM, Director of Economic Development; Louis Castillo, Economic Development Specialist; Naika Malveaux, Marketing Manager; and Cheryl Vaughan, Executive Assistant.
