Ravi Auto Ltd. The Ravi Auto Group is one of the oldest family business houses in Bengal. The foundation of this enterprise was laid by Late Shri Anandilall Poddar, Mayor of Kolkata in 1945 during British rule and a well known business leader. In the erstwhile days, the primary business of the Group comprised of renting office and warehousing space to large British and Indian businesses. Later, the firm ventured into automotive distribution having dealerships of Wells Fargo, Dodge and Fiat vehicles. With the passage of time, more automotive dealerships were started, namely; Premier Padmini, Mahindra & Mahindra, Escorts and Ashok Leyland. Under the realm of our current Chairman, Mr Ravi Poddar the group has diversified into various sectors and is currently engaged in automotive distribution, paint manufacturing, real estate development, warehousing and industrial estate, amusement parks and non banking finance. The company’s headquarters are situated in Ravi Auto House, Park Street, Kolkata.
