BizBiz Global’s beginnings trace back to when our founder and CEO, Elliot Daigneault, was working on the oil fields in Northern Alberta. The site was host to roughly 100 contractors. One day, with temperatures near -40 Celsius, a group were working on a culvert when one of their skid-steer's hydraulic systems exploded! The work had to be halted for 2 days before a new skid-steer could be shipped to them.
During his time on the field Elliot discovered gaps within the construction industry when it came to optimizing assets. Some contractors had idle machinery and equipment and a surplus of materials and would discard the excess that were perfectly appropriate for reuse. Other companies were using outdated spreadsheets and incomplete lists to source needed equipment/materials, but due to a lack of asset location and knowledge of nearby companies, they purchased new ones or lost productivity and when one broke down. This observation sparked the idea for BizBiz Share, the name of which represents Business-to-Business Sharing.
BizBiz’s platform makes it easy and efficient for organizations in construction, government, sectoral associations, healthcare, higher education and much more, to track, utilize and share the assets they already have before making a purchasing decision. The platform enables companies to share, lease, purchase or sell physical assets, materials and even human resources.
