About us Eggbuckland Community College was opened in September 1979 in purpose built accommodation on a green-field site. Therefore we have the advantage of excellent specialist facilities for all subjects. The College is coeducational with a comprehensive intake of about 245 students into Year 7 each year. Together with a large Sixth Form, this makes the total number of students aged 11 to 18 about 1500. The College is maintained by Plymouth Local Authority. Mission Statement We will use the art and science of Technology to engage, empower, and enrich our wider community of students and their families. Collaborating with all partners, we will define and respond to developing community needs. Exploiting technological opportunities and through our own inherent desire for achievement, we will invest in an active learning culture and a clear set of progression routes towards achievement.
