ICUK promotes and supports innovation and entrepreneurship including social innovations in order to help the region and its people to growth and develop and thus contribute to a positive change and higher competiveness of the region. The Centre focuses on following target groups: - start-ups and new companies searching for advices, financing, mentoring, and acceleration - SMEs searching for R&D capacities - universities and research organisations searching for partners for a collaborative R&D and its commercialisation - Big companies searching for a new external inspiration (open innovation) The Centre was established by the Usti region, J.E. Purkyne university in Usti nad Labem and the Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2015.
