Established in 1997, IAGTO is the global trade organisation of the golf tourism industry. IAGTO has over 2250 member companies in 98 countries including 568 golf tour operators in 62 countries. IAGTO's operators control over 85% of all golf holiday packages sold worldwide with annual sales of over US$2.5 billion. IAGTO is the association partner of the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) and established the International Golf Travel Writers Association (IGTWA) and the annual Golf Tourism Awards in 2000.
