The mission of NSX is to demonstrate the advantages of Normalized Systems in practice.
NSX, a spin-off of the University of Antwerp, develops and services Normalized Systems, highly evolvable software architectures for information systems, from small-scale, recent applications to internationally deployed, large and mission critical systems that have been in production for more than 10 years, continuously rejuvenated.
The range of applications is diverse:
- from small-scale to large-scale systems,
- from front end to back end systems,
- from standalone applications to integration layers for organizations ranging from governments to companies, and
- from administrative information systems to industrial systems in trending markets such as solar panel (PV)-
monitoring and IoT-systems.
These applications show the exceptional results of Normalized Systems in practice:
- by using modularity to address the many faces of evolvability,
- new levels of cost control in evolution become feasible,
- as well as far more agility enabling innovation and digital transformation.
At NSX we design new modular structures with unique evolvability characteristics. They exhibit EVOLVABLE MODULARITY.
