LookEast provides a forum for exchange on matters involving Asian politics, economics/finance, and culture. Building on the legacy of the Edinburgh International Asia Conference, LookEast was launched in September 2017 with the aim of creating a diverse and interactive community with a background in and/or an interest in the Asian continent. Given the rapidly accelerating ties between the East and West, we believe it is crucial to provide a space for the free exchange of ideas, opinions, and cultural traditions so as to develop enduring ties between Asia and the world.
