Britpave Barrier Systems Ltd (trading as BBS Barriers) is a designer of premium barrier solutions primarily for the transport and security markets. It licenses these designs to pre-qualified partners enabling the construction of 'quality assured' barrier solutions in both concrete and steel. The company has a proven track record in delivering fully tested and certified systems that ultimately save lives and protect buildings and infrastructure within the UK and Internationally. BBS has long-standing expertise in in-situ concrete dating back to 1991 when Britpave Trade Association was formed. Commercial barrier designs began in 2005 and the business has developed from there due to increased market demand. BBS was formed in June 2012 as a separate commercial organisation to focus on the Transport & Security markets more effectively.
