The Red Ants Pants Music Festival was founded in 2011. It is designed to bring people together and raise funds for the Red Ants Pants Foundation. Our non-profit is in support of women’s leadership, working family farms and ranches, and rural communities. We use proceeds from the festival to fund run our Girls Leadership Program, Timber Skills Workshops, and fund our community grant cycle. The festival was founded and is produced by Red Ants Pants owner, Sarah Calhoun.
This festival is 100% home grown and run by an incredibly dedicated crew of hard working staff. We are joined every July by dozens of friends and family that round out our 90-strong festival staff. Throw in 250 festival volunteers and this makes for a lot of hard work to pull off a pretty fantastic celebration. We were incredibly honored to have been named the 2018 Event of the Year by the Montana Office of Tourism and Business Development.
Come connect with good folks and celebrate rural Montana!
