edibl is an innovative UK start-up growing insects (principally Crickets) to re-cast our approach to protein in the food chain for both humans and pets. We do this through the use of automated technologies and modular circular methodologies within vertical farms which are designed for urban and rural environments and utilise local energy, recycled waste food and water resources efficiently Our output is used in the production of low-impact, high-quality, nutritious, and inherently sustainable food products. And it's quite delicious too, actually! We are currently closing our Seed raise (SEIS/EIS) and plan to be in production early 2024 with several pre-orders from leading and progressive food brands who are struggling to find insect protein supply within the UK, to keep up with the demand from consumers for novel foods like insects in both pet and human food products.
