EUCA is the European University College Association. Based in Brussels and formally born in 2008, it represents 53 thousand students and 194 halls of residence in five countries (Belgium, Italy, Poland, Spain and United Kingdom).
Its main scope is the professional, academic, cultural and human development of university students, that share without discrimination active formation and tutoring facilities.
The EUCA halls of residence, organized in national associations of "University Colleges", are characterized by an international atmosphere manifested through the promotion of students exchanges and activities with similar institutions in other countries, universities and civil society, including enterprises.
EUCA founding members are:
* the Italian CCU (Conferenza dei Collegi Universitari legalmente riconosciuti - www.collegiuniversitari.it);
* the Spanish CCM (Consejo de Colegios Mayores - www.consejocolegiosmayores.es);
* the English NEA (Netherhall Educational Association - www.nea.netherhall.org.uk);
* the Polish WUT (Warsaw University of Technology - www.pw.edu.pl).
EUCA is member of the “European Register of representative of interests”. It also part of the "Business Platform for Multilingualism" promoted by the European Commission, and it is a founding member of IASAS (International Association of Students Affairs and Services - http://www.iasasonline.org/).
