From owning a single small brewery based in Dar es Salaam, SBL now operates three breweries located in Moshi, Mwanza and Dar es Salaam, employing over 800 staff – both directly and indirectly. The company was incorporated in 1988 as Associated Breweries Limited and changed its name to Serengeti Breweries Limited in 2002. SBL’s headquarters are in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
