United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton (URS) has been enhancing the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities in the Miami Valley in 1956. URS was originally founded as the Dayton Chapter of United Cerebral Palsy and today provides programs and services each day to nearly 400 children and adults with disabilities.
URS is located in Dayton, Ohio at the corner of Needmore and Old Troy Pike. Programs include Child Care Services with 5-Star rated Early Childhood Education and School-Age Programs for children ages 6 weeks to 17 years, with or without disabilities, on-site Nursing Services, meaningful Day Programs for Adults and Seniors, Vocational Training (1st & 2nd Shift) and Employment Services.
URS offers a state-of-the-art on-site Therapy Clinic with Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies and provides many subspecialties including Feeding Therapy, VitalStim Swallowing Therapy, Augmentative
Communication, Therapeutic Listening, and the region's only Pediatric Aquatic Therapy Program and Universal Exercise Unit “spider cage.”
