Haventus Limited is the owner company of Ardersier Port and Harbour, one of the largest brownfield ports in the United Kingdom. Ardersier is on a journey to become a flagship energy transition facility that can help solve some of the UK’s greatest challenges - energy security and the transition to net zero. The first phase of redevelopment will unlock the port’s capacity to support the deployment of offshore wind projects. Ardersier is the only port in the area that has the scale to facilitate the roll-out of 28 GW of clean energy from the recent ScotWind leasing round. Initial works will also equip the site to clean up the North Sea and drive a major decommissioning programme of old oil and gas assets – an opportunity that could be worth £20bn to the supply chain between now and 2031.
