ABOUT A WORKER IS A DESIGN STUDIO FOUNDED ON TRANSPARENCY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION. WE DEVELOP ARTISTIC TOOLS TO REFLECT ON SPECIFIC SOCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL REALITIES AND TO IMAGINE NEW CREATION, PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS. OUR ACTIVITIES - 1 - WORKERS COLLABS ABOUT A WORKER develops creative workshops that bring employees of a company together and allow them to design expressive objects from A-Z. Through our introduction to design program, adapted to a team or a community, each participant is able to become a designer, illustrate his/her/their thoughts and develop his/her/their creativity. A fun way to facilitate discussion and trust within a group. - 2 - WORKSHOPS + EXPERIENCES The public's need for transparency and its desire to understand today's industry cannot come at the expense of pleasure and emotion. ABOUT A WORKER opens the doors of factories and workshops: through immersive staging and manual workshops. These experiments aim to promote exemplary production processes and the transmission of know-how. These scenographies and stagings attempt to initiate a common dialogue around the future of creation and production systems. -3 - TEXTILE PRODUCTION ABOUT A WORKER accompanies companies in each stage of the development and production of a clothing or accessory project : from the design to the delivery. Our WRKR ready-to-wear line is open source. Designed and produced in France from upcycled or responsible fabrics, the WRKR line can be used as a blank page for a business. 4 - RESEARCH + TRANSMISSION ABOUT A WORKER carries out technological, iconographic, sociological and ethnographic monitoring in order to experiment with new responsible processes. We support professionals, students and the public in the discovery and understanding of current industrial realities by confronting them with the various professions, crafts and know-how of our time.
