Lindley Educational Trust was founded in 1965 to help young people develop life skills. The Trust continues to primarily work with young people under the age of 25 years. We provide learning and development services to schools, youth groups, colleges, universities, and employers of apprentices and graduates, often using the medium of outdoor learning.
The Trust has a desire to help young people who are vulnerable and those from deprived backgrounds. We run youth clubs and development activities in Ashton-u-Lyne, Greater Manchester and Pitsmoor, Sheffield. The young leaders from these communities are providing strong role models for minority community engagement with outdoor and adventurous activities across the UK.
