Chapul Farms Brings Biology Back to Food Systems.
We use black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) microbiology to close agricultural production loops. The insects consume and upcycle nutrients previously destined for landfills, restoring biodiversity to soils and gut microbiomes.
We solve organics waste challenges by building BSFL farms on-site. The insects upcycle would-be-waste into two valuable byproducts: the larvae themselves (premium poultry, aqua, and pet feed ingredient) and frass (insect manure; a soil-healing synthetic fertilizer alternative).
Our solution is simple - we are using nature's best bioprocessing technology, the black soldier fly, to introduce circularity into agricultural production. Our "secret sauce" is how we've developed and packaged all the ingredients needed for success: the insect feed and fertilizer markets, optimized farming technology, leading global BSFL experts, microbial feedstock treatments, and a high-impact partner project network to bring our solution to commercial scale.
