The Nashville Adult Literacy Council’s mission is to teach reading, writing and English skills to adults in our community. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunities learning to read provides. Every year, with the help of nearly 600 volunteers, more than 1,700 adult learners in Nashville get the chance to transform their lives through literacy.
