In today’s job market, almost all jobs require some degree of computer proficiency. Northern Virginia's businesses need more skilled workers, yet a significant percentage of low-income adults lack the necessary computer and career skills to gain more meaningful employment.
Computer C.O.R.E. addresses these needs by providing basic training in computer skills, career development and job search strategies to highly motivated low-income adults in the Northern Virginia area. In addition, Computer C.O.R.E. provides refurbished computers to students who have need of them, enabling these students to sustain their learning and to share computing access with their families.
CORE's Mission is to help low-income adults acquire the technological and life skills they need to pursue career aspirations.
CORE's Vision is a world where all people shall have the skills and confidence to pursue their dreams, reach their full potential, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
