Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Montpellier (CIHEAM-IAMM):
The Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Montpellier was established in 1962. It offers various Masters Degrees including CIHEAM’s Master of Science, short professional training programmes and participates to the mentoring of Ph.D. students. It also conducts research and development projects related to agriculture and rural areas in partnership with other Mediterranean institutions. The Institute has a French language learning centre and a multimedia workshop. The training activities and the support services for training are under ISO 9001 quality assurance. The Institute has signed the Erasmus Charter. On a 7-hectares Mediterranean campus, the Institute has an accommodation capacity for a hundred students (accommodation and catering). A quarter of these students receive scholarships from the Institute. Its fields of expertise cover the Mediterranean Basin and are related to agricultural policies, rural development, food systems and the organization of value chains, resource management, quality marks and land.
