Our mission is to develop health care solutions for the poor. We started with the objective of reduction in maternal and infant mortality. We aim to minimize suffering and death associated with pregnancy and child birth. In 2008, we started by working in partnership with local NGOs in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India, which has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world. Since then, in 2009, we also expanded health care work to Karnataka, India.
