Welcome to the Jack and Jill Family of Schools – a group of schools providing education for children since 1951 and now one of the few remaining family-run educational groups in the UK. In preparation for living a healthy adult life, children enjoy sessions devised to develop positive attitudes to their bodies and minds, as exercise and competition are essential elements of the education of future generations. Philosophy for Children encourages critical, creative and collaborative thinking. Such an approach creates ‘communities of enquiry’ whereby children develop deeper understanding of themes through opportunities to question their understanding and challenge the thinking of others. We work for working parents by offering wrap around care from 8am – 6pm, through a range of Breakfast and After School Clubs. We operate a transport network through a fleet of minibuses taking children to and from school. During the school holidays, Holiday Clubs run by staff members enables access to care and learning throughout almost all the working year.
