The International Forestry Students' Association (IFSA) is a non-political, non-religious and non-profit organization, serving as networking platform for students from the forestry sector and related fields.
Currently, the IFSA brings together more than 75 collegiate local committees from 24 countries for networking and professional as well as cultural exchange.
At the International Forestry Students' Symposium (IFSS), the annual general assembly of the IFSA is held and new officials, which are all students, elected. These officials lead IFSA for the next year and enhance their character and knowledge about how to lead an international organization. Also, the IFSS is a time for all IFSA members to meet, make new friends and getting to know all sorts of different cultures and application forms of forestry and environmental sciences.
