Norwegian Car Carriers AS is a shipowning company specialized in car carriers. The company was founded in 1930 under the name of Skipsaktieselskapet Eidsiva. The company was renamed Norwegian Car Carriers ASA in 2010 following a business combination with the privately owned Dyvi Shipping AS.
The company was taken private and delisted from Oslo Stock Exchange in April 2014. The Company is today owned by a JP Morgan Asset Management managed transportation strategy.
