Medingo is developing the Solo MicroPump, a tiny insulin pump that allows people with diabetes to deliver insulin discreetly without tubing or injections. Solo was cleared by the FDA in 2009. In April 2010, Medingo was purchased by Roche Diagnostics. The company was founded in 2005 and is based in Yoqneam Illit, Israel and Tampa, FL.
