Established in 1970 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Virginia Council on Economic Education (VCEE) provides Virginia's K-12 students with the economic knowledge and financial skills needed to thrive in our dynamic economy. VCEE strives to accomplish its mission through its network of university-based Centers for Economic Education who: - develop and deliver professional development to teachers and offer ongoing support; - bring high-quality resources to educators where they are, when they need them; and - lead timely, relevant discussions on teaching economics via current events.
