The Naza Group of Companies is Malaysia’s esteemed family-owned Bumiputera business conglomerate. It operates a diverse portfolio of businesses in automotive, property development, engineering and construction, asset management and telecommunications.
The Group traces its roots to a small motor trading company that was established by the late Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin in 1975. This motor trading company later expanded to include used-luxury vehicles and built its footprint to what it is today.
Today, the Naza Group is led by its Group Chairman/Group Managing Director, SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin. The Naza Group is presently one of the largest importers of used-luxury vehicles in Malaysia and has evolved into a major importer and distributor of global automotive brands such as Ferrari, Maserati and a renowned two-wheel brand, Ducati being its sole importer and distributor of the brand in Malaysia. It also owns a dealership for Mercedes-Benz and is the official distributor for the Suzuki cars in Malaysia.
Outside the automotive and two-wheeled motor vehicle industries, the Naza Group has carved its presence as an established player in the property development industry through its subsidiary, Naza TTDI, which is best-known for the development of the acclaimed township of Taman Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur.
To date, Naza TTDI has completed over 14,000 residential and commercial units. Naza TTDI completed the iconic RM4 billion Naza Tower @ Platinum Park, a world-class high-end integrated residential and commercial development in the prestigious Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Naza TTDI is also the developer of Malaysia’s largest trade and exhibition centre, Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in the northern suburb of Kuala Lumpur.
